Your dentists or the home whitening kits use a gel - which sticks to the teeth. Hydrogen Peroxide is a liquid and its going to be more difficult to get to stick with the baking soda. It won't do any harm, but won't really do much at the same time. You can buy extra bleaching gel for the trays for a few dollars so I doubt it's worth the time and energy. I saw results after about 3 days they really whitened a lot after the time you are suppossed to use them. I also tried the strips once and the gunk on the strips burned my lips and they didnt seem to do as good of a job.
