Hydrogen Peroxide and Baking Soda in Teeth Whitening Trays?

I’ve heard its good to brush with, but if I put it in some old teeth whitening trays and leave it on for a long time will I do harm? Will it do nothing at all?

Baking soda and peroxide will work really well for this. There are great youtube videos to show you step by step how this is done.

Store bought Hydrogen peroxide is usually a 3% solution, and the bleaching solution you dentist uses can be anything from 22-45% solution. Your dentists or the home whitening kits use a gel – which sticks to the teeth. Hydrogen Peroxide is a liquid and its going to be more difficult to get to stick with the baking soda. It won’t do any harm, but won’t really do much at the same time. You can buy extra bleaching gel for the trays for a few dollars so I doubt it’s worth the time and energy. Some people are very sensitive to higher concentrations of bleach, though.
