what are the alternatives to professional teeth whitening procedures?

is baking soda effective? what are the over the counter products that are effective?

You should be very careful using abrasives like baking soda. Once the enamel is gone its gone. Our dentist recommends Crest whitening strips. It works he said as good as the trays with less damage to the enamel. My son’ts teeth are so pretty and white from these.

I use a combination of baking soda and myrrh. First I dip my toothbrush into hydrogen peroxide, then the powder and brush. It tastes like crap, but really cleans the teeth well.
